Some might wonder if you can eat flowers; the answer’s yes, but we have to be mindful of which ones to eat. Today we have combined a list of edible flowers with some cool facts and information.

Arugula

Origin: Mediterranean

Edible Parts: whole plant including seeds

Flavor: Light, tart, and peppery

Nutrients: Calcium, Iron, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, Folate, Potassium, Magnesium.

Bergamot

Scientific name: Monarda Fistulosa Origin: North America

Edible Parts: Flower,Stems, and leaves Preparation: Raw or cooked

Flavor: similar to oregano

Nutrients: B6, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory
